Lalibela African Restaurant

Got the vegan platter to go. We ordered ahead and she packaged it when we arrived so it would be fresh as possible. Chatted the few minutes while we waited. So friendly and wow was the food good. Highly recommended. I'm looking forward to going back for a meal in person.

Incredible Eritrean food. Probably the best I've ever had. So flavourful. I highly recommend the veggie platter. The service was super friendly and the place is clean and welcoming. If you are looking for an authentic International Ave. Eritrean meal, this is the place. And the price is right!

Dahlak Eritrean Restaurant & Bar

First time having this cuisine and it was a pleasant experience. Food was tasty and owner was friendly. Similar to other reviews, we also received complimentary coffee and popcorn at the end of our meal. But food was a bit slow maybe because we came in a group of 6. Nevertheless, this restaurant is worth a try!

MESOB ETHIOPIAN EATS

I was impressed with the owners hospitality and smile as well as of the decorations and menu but lost my appetite when I see the map of my country (Eritrea) was united with Ethiopia. We have a sovereign country and was so upset. And swear not to come to this restaurant again.

Lalibela African Restaurant

Wonderful. This place is an absolute gem. The food is great and the staff are delightful. If you’ve never had Ethiopian before this place will be a great introduction, and if you have had it before: great! You’ll be in for a treat.

Hdmona restaurant

We were looking to use a bathroom as nothing was open in the area. We would have been interested in seeing their menu as well but when we stopped in around 11 pm the place was filled with people and smoke and we were told the bathroom wasn't working. The lady working looked concerned about us walking and acted like she wanted us out as soon as possible as we were the only white people in there. I'm sure health inspectors would like to check out their smoke filled place with non working bathrooms.

Blue Nile African Restaurant

I had the Managers Favourite platter and OMG I now want to eat here everyday. Such great tasting food. Reasonable price. Large portions. Absolutely recommend trying this place. Just be aware that the foods marked as spicy are VERY SPICY. My boyfriend got the Meat Lovers platter and I couldn't eat most of it because of how spicy it was- but it was still delicious through the burn.

absolutely phenomenal home cooked food for a fair price, certified BUSTING. you cant leave until you try the samosas, so fresh and flavourful. the staff is so kind and wonderful, shout out to rebka - sweetest lady to walk this earth, PERIOD!!and they got ice cold beers :)

Tameet Food Track

Fantastic authentic Eritrean/Ethiopian food, gluten free (including the injera.) The spice level is pretty low, as one would expect in Canada, but the flavors are great.
